Gooch Agencies Gloucester conducted their regular fortnightly store sale on Thursday 1st November, 450 head were yarded for buyers competition.

Very few older cattle were on offer with most of the offering young cattle.

Yearling steers A/c Philip Ince, Stroud & Roseleigh Holdings, The Monkerai topped @ $1200 to Brian Owens, Wingham. Weaner steers A/c Mark Butler, Stroud topped at $1070 also to Brian Owens.  Most steer weaners sold between $650 - $850 with lighter steers weaners selling between $370 - $580.

Preg tested heifers A/c D Alston sold to top of $1200 to Dairy Livestock Services. Yearling heifers topped at $970 with heifer weaners A/c Mark Butler, Stroud topping at $850 for a pen of Angus heifers.  Cross bred heifer weaners A/c Philip Ince, Stroud topped at $810 to Trevor Cleaver, Krambach, with most heifers weaners selling between $550 - $600, and their younger sisters selling between $300 - $480.

Cows and calves topped at $1425 for Devon Cows A/c Kevin and Heather Burley, Mograni Creek to Gordon Weismantle, Wards River. Most cows sold between $900 - $1175.

Buyers attended from Walcha, Taree, Wauchope and local districts.
